31 Mar 2023Currently touring as support for Ed Sheeran across the UK and Europe, Frontier Touring are excited to announce debut Australian East Coast headline shows for Irish singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Cian Ducrot. He’ll make his first appearance at Mary’s Underground, Sydney, on Wednesday 3 May, before taking Howler, Melbourne, on Thursday 4 May.
Originally signing to Dark Room Recordings – the label responsible for discovering Billie Eilish – Ducrot shot to stardom in 2022 with his viral hit ‘All For You’. In more news today, his latest single ‘Part Of Me’ has just been released via Universal Music – stream it HERE.
Frontier Members presale starts Monday 3 April (2pm local time), before tickets go on sale to the general public from Wednesday 5 April (3pm local time) via frontiertouring.com/cianducrot.
In January 2022, Cian Ducrot wrote and produced his breakthrough single, ‘All For You’, which spent four months in the UK top 40, peaking at number 19. Its success – assisted by a duet with previous touring partner Ella Henderson – lead to him announcing his own UK and Europe tour, which has now completely sold out.
His follow up single ‘I’ll Be Waiting’ is a fragile, heart-wrenching ballad that is shaping up to be one of 2023’s biggest songs. Fuelled by fan power on TikTok where Ducrot has 4.3 million followers and over 96.9 million likes, ‘I'll Be Waiting’ has started to take on a life of its own, steadily climbing the UK Top 40 and currently sitting pretty at number 21. A recent viral video of Ducrot performing a surprise gig on public transport has been viewed over 96.1 million times – watch the video HERE.
In 2021, Cian Ducrot joined Rolling Stone Australia for an instalment of ‘In My Room’, a series in which artists perform from home following a year where live shows became a rarity – watch the virtual performance HERE.
‘Cian showcased more of his raw talent with a slew of emotional tracks that highlight his serene vocals and musical aptitude.’ – Rolling Stone Australia
