The Dream Deer six-date Australian tour plays two shows in each city – Fortitude Music Hall, Brisbane on Wed 7 & Fri 9 May, Forum, Melbourne on Sat 10 & Sun 11 May and Enmore Theatre, Sydney on Tue 13 & Wed 14 May.

Montell Fish has recently released new music under his shadowy, masked music moniker that he created in 2023, dj gummy bear.  The 3-track murder release (out now via Virgin Music, here) features ‘murder’, a guitar-led track with propulsive synths and drums that border on both pop and dance music plus ‘deserve’ and ‘energy’. Montell first introduced dj gummy bear as a liberating creative outlet to explore more abstract electronic sounds outside of his solo work as Montell Fish, with more music to come from dj gummy bear soon.

Montell Fish tracks include ‘HOTEL’, ‘Bathroom’, ‘fall in love with you’, ‘Destroy Myself Just For You’, ‘i wanna love you all night long’ and most recent ‘deserve/energy’.

Montell Fish and dj gummy bear are two distinct characters, but they embody the duality in Montell’s world and the opposing forces that influenced the early parts of his career.  Montell Fish deals in intricate and grand alternative pop, while dj gummy bear thrives under the surface, tinkering with the ambient subtleties of his own experimental R&B.
