PLAYING SYDNEY & MELBOURNE

FOR FOUR SPECIAL NIGHTS

As the Toronto Sun put it "forget about the vocals, Jesse Cook's fingers do the talking."

Canadian rumba flamenco star Jesse Cook is bringing his exotic Brazilian and Spanish influenced blend of new age, jazz, blues and easy listening to Australia this October.

Over four intimate nights music lovers will be treated to a talent that has sold over one million albums worldwide, worked with the likes of the Afro-Celts and Charlotte Church, can boast gigs with the Chieftains, Holly Cole and Buckwheat Zydeco, appears on the famous Buddha-Bar CDs and has even found time to feature on hit US TV series Sex In The City.

With his fifth album Nomad recently released to critical acclaim audiences can expect to be delighted by, in the words of the Vancouver Province, "a killer flamenco rhumba guitarist". But expect even more than that as Cook's live show blends flamenco, gypsy, Arabic, Brazilian and American roots influences. Add to the mix Australia's brilliant Martinez trio and this is a night that any self respecting lover of music will know that they must experience.

Tickets are on sale from Friday 26 September.
