The Frontier Touring Company is ecstatic to announce the return of the vegan, technopunk, music maverick MOBY for a national run of shows in March 2003.

Well known for his music diversity the new live show could be described as part rave, part stadium rock. With a state of the art lighting setup, a full string section and his on going band line up of DJ, drums, bass and backup vocalist, the man himself will play guitar in a set that will include tracks from the current album '18', highlights from PLAY, old favourites like 1000, Go and the James Bond Theme and possibly even a cover or two. One thing is for sure, fans will walk away with much more than they bargained for!

Moby's last album PLAY released in 1999 sold in excess of 10 million copies worldwide and achieved the #1 ARIA chart position on three separate occasions in Australia. The album broke all expectations by remaining in ARIA's Top 10 for 33 weeks, Top 40 for 72 weeks and the Top 100 for a massive 145 weeks!! By the time the album had hit its peak 26 countries had seen PLAY achieve multi platinum sales with over 3 million singles being bought worldwide.

Grammy nominations continued for three years running while this year has seen MOBY collect 2 Billboard Music Awards, one for Electronic Album of the Year and the other for Electronic Albums Artist of the Year.

Moby's latest album "18" released in May this year debuted at #1 on the ARIA chart and reached platinum sales in its first few months of release, a big leap forward from PLAY which had taken a year to achieve Gold sales in Australia. The first single to be lifted from '18' titled "We Are All Made of Stars" was immediately added to commercial radio play lists, another confirmation of how much things had altered since the early days of PLAY. The video for the track went on to win the Best Cinematography in a Video award at this year's MTV Music Awards.

The latest single to be lifted from the album released on the 11th November is titled "In This World". Released on two formats MOBY confirmed to his long time fans that although commercial media was looking in his direction he had not turned his back on his dance roots and offered up mixes by ATFC, PUSH and T&F. There was also an exclusive mix on vinyl by SLACKER that most are still trying to find. The video for the track sees the return of MOBY's little alien buddies and is sure to make the hardest heart feel somewhat sad.
