He's gorgeous. He's sexy. He's the envy of every male tennis fan in the world and he can turn out a damn catchy tune. Put the whole package on a stage and you're guaranteed female heart rates will sky rocket.

Which is why The Frontier Touring Company would like to take this opportunity to apologise to all Aussie blokes when confirming that yes, Latino heart throb Enrique Iglesias is heading to Australia for his first ever concert tour of our shores.

In recent years Bailamos, Escape, Hero and Don't Turn Off The Lights ruled the airwaves and heated up dance floors across the world. Since kicking off his career with Enrique Iglesias in 1996, Enrique has sold over 30 million albums worldwide. A phenomenal record by any standard, especially when you add to his accolades a Grammy Award, a Billboard Artist of the Year award, Billboard Album of the Year award, two American Music Awards, a World Music Award, eight Premio Lo Nuestro Awards, two ACE Performer of the Year Awards and ASCAP prizes for Best Composer.

Live, the Enrique Iglesias concert is a spectacle of rock and pop. Promoter Michael Gudinski said the show surprised him when he first saw it in the United States in 2003.

"I'd gone expecting a great concert, but I was blown away by how huge the show was.

"From the biggest hits through to Enrique's brand new work, the crowd were up dancing from start to finish.

"When he pulled a girl up on the stage the crowd went absolutely wild, it was something to see."

Aside from announcing his tour to Australia, January 2004 will also see the release of Not In Love from Enrique's latest album '7' (out now through Universal). With a spicy video clip directed by Jake Nava (think Beyonce's Crazy in Love) the single, also starring Kelis, will give Australia a small taste of what it can expect from Enrique when he heads down under.
