AUSTRALIAN TOUR 04

The Frontier Touring Company are delighted to confirm PJ Harvey's first ever national headline tour of Australia this November/December.

And with concerts in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, her fans across Australia will have their memories refreshed as to just why she stole their hearts at past festivals and sideshows.

Live, PJ Harvey is simply awesome. And predictably critics worldwide go into raptures over her shows. The Tripwire wrote of a recent concert, "from the get go, the crowd worshipped at the alter of Polly Jean with a sense of dedication and awe usually reserved for cult leaders, the Papacy or heads of state."

BBC announced,"Miss Harvey seems more excitable than ever, stomping and stalking the stage... She is a Tiger and we are her prey, it's a merciful killing... with each tear and bite seeming more thrilling than the previous."

With her new album Uh Huh Her (Universal) – described by Rolling Stone as "austere beauty... more tenderness than ever "– now in stores, fans can expect a concert that will feature both new material and old. And with seven albums to choose from it's not likely that Polly Jean will be struggling for choice each night.

Nominated numerous times for Grammy's and Mercury Music Prizes, PJ Harvey was the first woman to ever win the Mercury Music Prize in 2001 for her album Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea. The same album was described by NME as "a magnificent, life – affirming opus."

PJ Harvey's concert tour of Australia this November /December will be a must see. Don't take your time about getting tickets to this tour, because it will sell out.
