NAUGHTY BOY joins RUDIMENTAL in New Zealand + Gorgon City for March 2014 tour!
Oct 28, 2013Rudimental’s Kiwi fans will be quick to snap up tickets for one of the hottest shows this summer, following Monday’s announcement that the party-starting “Feel The Love” Londoners would be bringing their acclaimed full live show down to New Zealand for the very first time in March 2014. The Frontier Touring pre-sale starts this Thursday at 2pm and tickets will go fast.
Now, Future Music and Frontier Touring is chuffed to announce the sizzling genre melting-pot is bringing along not just one but two very special guests for the ride: previously announced “Intentions” duo Gorgon City, and one of the UK’s freshest producers and songwriters – Naughty Boy!
In a mere four years Watford whizz Naughty Boy – aka Shahid Khan – has lent his epic garage, house and trip-hop skills to the likes of Tinie Tempah, Wiley, Britney Spears, Rihanna, Katy Perry and Emeli Sandé. Over the weekend in Glasgow he walked away with two MOBO [Music Of Black Origin] trophies for Best Song and Best Video for his hit “La La La”, and is set to drop a brand new remix of “Think About It” mid November. Naughty Boy amazingly began his career with a £5,000 grant from The Princes Trust, and then won an extra £44,000 on TV show “Deal or No Deal”. In August 2013 he released his critically acclaimed debut Hotel Cabana, scoring 9/10 from The Independent. With hits like “Wonder” and “Lifted”, this slick music master is on a fast trajectory skywards!

Talented producers Matt Scott and Kye Gibbon, aka Gorgon City, are no strangers to Rudimental’s on stage fun, the polished pair currently touring alongside their pals as support on a sold-out tour across the UK. With a solid soundtrack of party offerings, Gorgon City’s debut EP, Real, landed serious love from the BBC1 upon its release, thanks to their captivating mix of jungle, grime, hip-hop, garage and house, the band hitting Australia in early September. Signed to tastemaker indie Black Butter Records, Gorgon City’s remixes for the likes of Joel Compass, Basement Jaxx, Clena Bandit and Jess Mills are super hot... and proof the best is yet to come!
“Never letting the party slow and ensuring your ass stays planted on the dancefloor, Gorgon City provide genre blending vibes that will last long after the music has stopped.” The Line Of Best Fit
With a live show that’ll have you dancing in mere seconds, Rudimental, Naughty Boy and Gorgon City are set to show New Zealand just why they’re the hottest names in music right now.

Rudimental is making their obsession with live music translate to the dance world... Put down your MC-505 and pick up a trumpet!” – The Guardian
With a record year jam-packed with number one singles, sell-out gigs and massive hits – “Not Giving In”, “Hell Could Freeze Over”, “Waiting All Night” and the global smash “Feel The Love” – Rudimental took the music scene by storm with their debut LP,Home. “Feel The Love” debuted at #1 on the UK dance and single charts, with Home hitting #2 on New Zealand album charts upon its release.
