White Lies
White Lies exploded into the musical stratosphere with their debut album To Lose My Life in 2009, which climbed to #1 on the UK Albums Chart, selling nearly a million copies worldwide and saw the trio win ‘New Band of the Year’ at both the Mojo & Q Awards. They quickly became a festival favourite, appearing alongside the likes of Coldplay, Muse and Kings Of Leon at Coachella, Glastonbury, Lollapalooza and South By Southwest to name but a few.
In January of 2011 White Lies released their second album, Ritual, to continued acclaim. It’s ethereal stylishness saw Mojo magazine give it 4 out of 5 stars, the magazine saying that despite comparisons to their contemporaries "[This] reveals their ambition is to rise above them all, adding '80s polish and industrial muscle to their melodic gloom-mongering."

THIRTY SECONDS TO MARS | MOVE VENUES TO HELP OUT THE ROLLING STONES -
Dec 04, 2013It’s not every day that you get the chance to do a favour for The Rolling Stones.
With the news just announced that The Rolling Stones are heading to Australia and New Zealand this March, comes further details of just how the Melbourne concert for the legendary band was made possible.
With only one date possible for the Stones to play at Rod Laver Arena, US rockers Thirty Seconds To Mars kindly agreed to hand over the venue to the Stones, moving their own concert into next doors Hisense Arena.
Promoter Michael Gudinski said of the generous move “The Stones could only play that one date in Melbourne and it had to be at Rod Laver Arena. We were honestly at a loss as to what to do. No one wants to say no to the Stones!
“Thirty Seconds to Mars were more than happy to help us out of our dilemma and we’re hugely grateful for their assistance.”
All tickets for the Rod Laver Arena concerts will be reallocated to similar locations at Hisense Arena.
Customers with General Admission Floor tickets do not need to do anything. Their tickets will be valid for use at Hisense Arena.
Customers with Reserved Seating tickets will be reallocated into a similar location in Hisense Arena. All new Reserved Seating tickets will be sent via email by Tuesday 17th December.
Ticketek will email all patrons this week to advise them of the process regarding their new tickets.
All remaining tickets to Thirty Seconds To Mars at Hisense Arena will be available to purchase from Friday 6 December 2013 at 9am, from Ticketek.

THIRTY SECONDS TO MARS announce WHITE LIES as support for Australian arena tour
Nov 13, 2013Frontier Touring can confirm that joining Thirty Seconds To Mars on their epic forthcoming Australian arena tour in March 2014 will be princes of post-punk, White Lies!
Their most recent album, BIG TV (out now through Universal Music, watch the clip for single ‘There Goes Our Love Again), retains the dark romantic rock of previous outings but is more melodic and contemplative in nature with lead vocalist and guitarist Harry McVeigh telling NME- "It's still quite a full-on sound, it's just that with less guitars, and less of everything in general, you could hear things being played”. This evolution has resulted in what is arguably their most heralded work to date, climbing into the top twenty album charts of no less than six countries and collecting the band a ton of praise:
“Impossibly, they sound even more engaged and clear-eyed than on the ambitious, stylized Ritual… White Lies combine the urgent passions of their debut with the conceptual ambitions of their sophomore effort and by doing so, make the best album of their career. ” – AllMusic
“With Big TV, White Lies spin their twisting tales of faith, love, and betrayal on a concrete plain – namely, that of the modern age, with all of its technologic caveats and loss of communication between the signals. White Lies have herein created their best record yet.” – KEXP - FM
Thirty Seconds To Mars Australian shows in March 2014 are set some of the most anticipated performances of the year; the band are armed to the teeth with an artillery of anthemic hits from their back catalogue and recent fourth album Love Lust Faith + Dreams (out now through Universal Music) that were born to be played in an arena. The band continue their chart-scorching trend with hit new single ‘City Of Angels’, an epic, rousing and personal track that explores the places we call home and how they bring us to life, as Leto himself said “A place where you go to realize yourself and your dreams”.
The accompanying video (watch here) is as grand as the song itself; a short film directed by Jared Leto himself that combines breathtaking Los Angeles cityscapes with celebrity confessionals from Kanye West, Juliette Lewis, Lindsay Lohan, Olivia Wilde, Ashley Olsen, James Franco, Selena Gomez, Alan Cumming, and Corey Feldman on their relationship with the city and with fame itself.
White Lies sweeping brand of rock is the perfect accompaniment to the blockbuster performances that have become synonymous with Thirty Seconds To Mars name. Thirty Seconds To Mars Arena Tour in March 2014 promises nights of expert showmanship and exhilarating hits, make sure you’re there!

THIRTY SECONDS TO MARS confirms Australian arena tour!
May 16, 2013The Frontier Touring Company has confirmed that Thirty Seconds To Mars will be unleashed into Australian arenas for blockbuster performances in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane!
Lead singer Jared Leto revealed the bands intention to return to Australian shores whilst here earlier this month to promote hugely anticipated fourth offering, Love Lust Faith + Dreams (out May 17 through Universal).
Produced by Leto himself along with previous collaborator Steve Lillywhite (U2, The Rolling Stones, The Smiths), the new album promises to be their most exhilarating to date. Leto told BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe that it's a "complete transformation for us... stronger, better and more evolved".
No strangers to innovation, in partnership with NASA the band literally launched first single 'Up In The Air' into space for an 'out of this world' premiere 230 miles above the earth carried aboard the SpaceX rocket and received its first ever play on the International Space Station.
It's undeniable; their epic and atmospheric sounds combined with meditative almost spiritual lyrics have fashioned songs that were born to be performed in the arena.
Having already blown Australian audiences away with sold out theatre tours in 2007 and again wowing audiences across the country in 2010, the guys are primed to conquer our arenas for the very first time this August.
'...definitely a celebration, in just about every conceivable way.' - MTV
Thirty Seconds To Mars was initially signed in 1998 as a family project between brothers and multi instrumentalists Shannon and Jared, later being joined by guitarist Tomo Milicevic.
After impressing with their self titled debut, it was sophomore album A Beautiful Lie that cemented their position as pioneers of epic and anthemic music.
Their follow up third studio album This Is War was arguably their finest work to date, going multi platinum throughout Europe, #2 on the U.S. Alternative Albums and Digital Albums charts and triumphant single 'Kings and Queens' becoming 2009's most celebrated anthem.
On stage the band is a force of nature, Leto's captivating showmanship and the band's skillful execution leaving little doubt why their fans - named 'The Echelon' - are so devout. On their last tour, the band even broke a Guinness World Record for longest ever concert tour after performing an astonishing 311 shows over two years in almost 60 countries in 6 continents.
Having sold over five million albums, amassing more than 300 million views on YouTube and with a new album on the horizon, it's a safe bet that the Thirty Seconds To Mars Australian arena tour will be one of the most electrifying events of the year.
