Xavier Dunn
Joining Graham for his debut Australian shows will be Xavier Dunn. The Sydneysider already had a long list of accolades to his name before even releasing his debut single ‘Scattered’ last month.
Dunn’s unique cover renditions have earned him three tracks that reached the coveted top spot on HypeMachine, 1.5million SoundCloud plays, 3 million plays in just over a month on Spotify and the #1 position on Spotify’s US and Australian Viral Charts as well as the #2 Global Viral position. Dunn’s vocals and cutting edge production will be the perfect complement to Graham’s prowess on the live stage.

LUKAS GRAHAM | Danish chart topper announces debut Australian tour this August!
May 19, 2016Frontier Touring are thrilled to announce that ARIA album and single chart topper Lukas Graham will be making his way to Australia for the very first time, playing Melbourne’s Max Watts and Sydney’s Metro Theatre this August. Graham will be joined at both shows by Sydney’s own Xavier Dunn.
‘Pop’s brash new prince.’ - Billboard
‘Lukas Graham…writes neatly turned songs that merge the lilt of pop-soul with the quick cadences of hip-hop, and he sings about earnest striving that gets its deserved reward.’ - New York Times
‘Not since Ed Sheeran played SXSW 2012 has anybody hit the festival so fully-formed, so at-the-ready with pop radio hits-in-waiting. Perhaps already a Best New Artist Grammy frontrunner, Lukas Forchhammer has charm to burn.’ - Esquire
Lukas Graham is one of 2016’s breakthrough artists. His track ‘7 Years’ has gathered more than 200 million streams and 162 million YouTube views globally, and has climbed - and topped – the charts in close to 20 countries across the globe. Here in Australia, the track is certified double platinum and spent eight consecutive weeks at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart.
Similarly, Graham’s self-titled debut album (out now via Warner Music Australia) debuted at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart upon its release last month. To create the eleven-track collection, Graham drew from both his experiences and eclectic record collection that includes the likes of The Beatles, Gregory Isaacs, Al Green and The Prodigy.
Graham was classically trained with the Copenhagen Boys’ Choir, with the contrasting influences of his father’s Irish folk roots and his own passion for hip hop working together to create his distinct sound. Stories of Graham’s upbringing in Christiania, a self-governed district of central Copenhagen with no cars, streetlights, or police, are scattered through his debut album. For a glimpse of what a day in Graham’s life in Christiania is like; watch the ‘Mama Said’ video here.
Before the rest of the world had caught onto his talent, Graham had already captured the attention of Europe with multiplatinum albums, top 10 singles and countless sold out shows and festival main stage spots to his name. In Denmark alone, cumulative single sales have surpassed 150,000 with nearly 40 million collective streams.
Graham’s bandmates – and childhood friends – Mark “Lovestick” Falgren (drums), Magnús “Magnúm” Larsson (bass), and Kasper Daugaard (keyboard) all play an integral part in both the songwriting process and their renowned live show. Their undeniable on-stage chemistry, infectious hooks and anthemic lyrics make for an incredible concert experience:
‘Graham belts out his songs with soul and honesty beyond his years, and it doesn't hurt that he and his bandmates (who all grew up together) have fantastic onstage chemistry as well.’ - Huffington Post
“[Lukas Graham] is able to captivate an audience thanks to the song's relatable lyrics and subject matter. Graham and his band deserve to become the next big thing in the music industry.” - Digital Journal

Graham is a lyricist first, drawing in masses of listeners through the stories he shares. Don’t miss his raw blend of soulful vocals and gritty songwriting when he and his band tour Australia for the very first time this August!
