‘Phenomenal’ - ★★★★★ Digital Journal
‘A young Presley for a new millennium.’ – Elmore Magazine

MAX FROST announces debut Sydney and Melbourne shows for this March
Jan 19, 2016Frontier Touring and I OH YOU are extremely excited to be bringing Max Frost, Atlantic recording artist and multi-instrumentalist phenom, to Australian shores for the first time ever. Frost will be bringing his soulful electronic pop to Sydney and Melbourne this coming March.
At just 23 years of age, Austin local Max Frost has two EPs under his belt and a string of buzz worthy tracks including ‘White Lies’ lifted from his first EP Low High Low, which topped Hype Machine’s Most Popular Tracks on Blogs Now.
‘’White Lies’, an up-tempo dance-pop number that's super-sized hooky like Gnarls Barkley's ‘Crazy’ or Pharrell's ‘Happy’’ – Rolling Stone
‘Musically timeless, warmer and less misogynistic fusion of electronic production and old-school rhythm’ – Renowned For Sound
2015 saw the release of Frost’s latest EP Intoxication (Atlantic) which is described as his most up-tempo work to date. Sonically influenced by the music of Amy Winehouse and Raphael Saadiq, Frost’s music takes on a vintage soulful sound whilst still sounding modern and unique.
Instantly catchy jam ‘Paranoia’ received massive amounts of triple j airplay and critical acclaim. Set against a 60s blue-eyed soul beat with a driving and punchy bassline and a subtle organ hum, ‘Paranoia’ highlights Frost’s songwriting growth.
Similarly to ‘White Lies’, Intoxication’s track ‘Withdrawal’ premiered at #1 on Hype Machine’s Most Popular Tracks on Blogs Now chart.
‘You can always count on Max Frost to give you replay-worthy hits’ – Hilly Dilly
Live, Max Frost brings his A-game. Following a massive tour of America towards the end of 2015, Frost is bringing his incredible, high energy live shows to Australia. Having taken to stages at SXSW, Firefly Music Festival and ACL Festival, Frost is no stranger to a multitude of stages and audiences. His dedication to vocal accuracy and incredible guitar skills in a live setting are demonstrated in the performance of ‘Paranoia’ at Atlantic Studios recently.
‘Phenomenal’ - ★★★★★ Digital Journal
‘Frost’s guitar playing and stage presence is the central focus of the show; with his hip wagging, great hair and soulful swagger, he wraps an audience around his finger, demanding full attention like- dare I say? - a young Presley for a new millennium.’ – Elmore Magazine
A young artist on the cusp of stardom, Max Frost is paving the way for an incredible future. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to see Frost’s signature fusion of electronic pop and vintage blue-eyed soul in his first ever Australian shows this March.
