Frontier Touring and I OH YOU are thrilled to confirm that joining Max Frost for his debut Australian shows next month will be producer and multi-instrumentalist Will Cuming, otherwise known as LANKS.
 
Melbourne based producer and songwriter LANKS will support Frost, fresh off the release of his EP, Banquet. Banquet has garnered Lanks a strong indie following and loads of triple j airplay. In 2015 alone, Lanks supported Airling and Andy Bull on their Australian tours, dropped an EP and played countless headline dates around Australia. Tracks off the EP include ‘Hold Me Closer’ and ‘Settle Down’ (watch the hilarious accompanying video here).

2015 saw the release of Frost’s latest EP Intoxication (Atlantic) which is described as his most up-tempo work to date. Sonically influenced by the music of Amy Winehouse and Raphael Saadiq, Frost’s music takes on a vintage soulful sound whilst still sounding modern and unique.

Instantly catchy jam ‘Paranoia’ received massive amounts of triple j airplay and critical acclaim. Set against a 60s blue-eyed soul beat with a driving and punchy bassline and a subtle organ hum, ‘Paranoia’ highlights Frost’s songwriting growth.
