Nov 11, 2016It’s the event that keeps on giving: Frontier Touring, Illusive Presents, Southern Cross Austereo and its Hit Network are excited to reveal details of RNB Fridays Live official after parties set to take place across the country!
Taking place straight after RNB Fridays Live wraps up in each city, these after parties are your chance to party all night long with some of RNB’s biggest superstars. Missed out on tickets to the concerts? Want the night to keep on going? Here’s your last chance to be a part of Australia’s biggest RNB event.
On hosting duties at each party will be RNB Fridays Live headliner Nelly (‘Ride Wit Me’, ‘Hot In Herre’, ‘The Fix’) and soulful jam masters 112 (‘Dance With Me’, ‘Peaches & Cream’).
Those lucky enough to pick up tickets to these after parties will be treated to live performances from both Fatman Scoop (‘Be Faithful’) and Blu Cantrell (‘Hit ‘Em Up Style (Oops!)’, ‘Breathe’), fresh from hitting the stage at RNB Fridays Live earlier in the evening.
TLC’s official tour DJ Benny Demus (all parties exc. Adelaide) and DJ Horizon, Australia’s #1 RNB DJ, will both hit the decks for hour-long sets filled with the biggest RNB hits from the 90s right through to today. Get a taste of what to expect with this killer mix from DJ Horizon.
Australia’s biggest RNB party RNB Fridays Live kicks off next Friday 18 November, featuring ten of the biggest names in RNB who have collectively sold more than 84 million records and picked up 12 Grammy Awards. RnB Fridays has taken Australia by storm! After successfully launching in 2015, RnB Fridays is now the Hit Network’s most listened to day on air right across its 50 stations nationwide and features some of the best RnB hits from the early 90s all the way through to today. Adding to that are the two multi-platinum RnB Fridays albums that prove RnB Fridays is bigger than ever. Now, RnB Fridays Live will take this hugely successful music phenomenon to the next level.
RnB Fridays Live becomes a reality this November. The epic line-up features ten of the biggest names in RnB who have collectively sold more than 84 million records and picked up 12 Grammy Awards from 36 nominations. Be ready as you’re in for a treat:
Is it getting ‘Hot In Herre’? Nelly, one of the best-selling rap artists in American music history, will be leading the charge at RnB Fridays Live. With a collection of iconic classics like ‘Ride Wit Me’ (ft. St. Lunatics), ‘Just A Dream’, ‘Shake Ya Tailfeather’ (ft. P Diddy and Murphy Lee) and ‘Dilemma’ (ft. Kelly Rowland) alongside recent favourites like ‘The Fix’ (ft. Jeremih) under his belt, there is no doubt that Nelly will be getting the party started.
Three letters, five Grammys and more than 71 million record sales: TLC is one of the most iconic girl groups of all time. Since forming in 1991, the outfit have captured the world’s attention with their sassy and sophisticated RnB, showcased on favourites like ‘Waterfalls’ and ‘Unpretty’. After recently announcing AU & NZ headline shows, here’s your last chance to witness their not-to-be-missed live show. ‘No Scrubs’ allowed.
If that’s not enough to ‘Lock U Down’, Mya will also be headed Down Under for RnB Fridays Live. The Grammy-winning RnB superstar will treat audiences across the country to massive hits like ‘Case Of The Ex (Whatcha Gonna Do)’ and ‘My Love Is Like… Wo’, best start rehearsing all your smooth moves.
