BRINGING THE FIRE AND THE FLOOD TOUR TO AUSTRALIA’S EAST COAST NEXT APRIL

with special guests HOLY HOLY

Melbourne’s own Vance Joy has confirmed that he will be bringing the Fire and the Flood Tour to Australia’s East Coast next April, performing his biggest headline shows to date joined by special guests Holy Holy.

The Australian tour will follow a run of Fire and the Flood show dates across North America in early 2016, with second shows already added in multiple cities to meet overwhelming demand. No stranger to their shores, Vance Joy has performed 64 shows in the United States and Canada this year alone as Taylor Swift’s very special guest on The 1989 World Tour.

Vance Joy will be touring in celebration of platinum-certified single ‘Fire and the Flood’, his equal highest single chart to date alongside breakthrough track ‘Riptide’.  Earlier this month, Vance Joy made a triumphant return to Australian soil with a performance of the track on The X Factor to a television audience of more than a million, watch it here.

‘Fire and the Flood’ is lifted from the deluxe edition of Vance Joy’s critically acclaimed debut album Dream Your Life Away (out now via Liberation Music) which debuted at the top of the ARIA Album Chart and has since been certified platinum.

‘Confident, self-assured and classically Australian, with an appeal that's universal.’ – Rolling Stone

‘There’s a lot to like about Vance Joy’s debut album Dream Your Life Away. The consistency of the writing and its broad appeal will make it a favourite among many.’ – Beat Magazine (Album Of The Week)

Dream Your Life Away is blessed with just enough heartfelt honesty to spread the youthful nostalgia adeptly across any generational gaps.’ – Clash

Wrapping up a year marked by achievements, Vance Joy will be performing at the 2015 ARIA Awards tonight where he has been nominated for seven awards. Following this, Vance Joy and Taylor Swift will kick off the Australian leg of The 1989 World Tour with the biggest show of the entire tour, performing to more than 72,000 people at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium this Saturday.

‘…it was a euphoric collaboration between performer and audience and a highlight of the evening.’ – FasterLouder

‘The show, like his tousled locks, is perfect with a touch of endearing imperfection. He’s a babe and that’s one helluva set of songs for an artist’s debut album… Joy was successfully building an audience even before pop’s biggest star came calling.’ - LA Times

Joining Vance Joy for all shows on the Fire and the Flood Tour will be Australian duo Holy Holy. Their highly anticipated debut album When The Storms Would Come (out now via Wonderlick/Sony Music) hit #11 on the ARIA Album Chart and the top ten of iTunes’ digital charts, presenting fans with a sound vaster and wider than anything the pair had created to date. One of the most talented performers that Australia has produced in recent years, Vance Joy’s live show is not to be missed. Don’t miss his captivating songwriting come to life on the Fire and the Flood tour next April, tickets will not last long.
