Clockwork DJ
If you ask his loyal day one fans he is the artist formally known as DJ CLOCKWORK, to most of his newer fans (those acquired over the last 10 years) he is the “Official Tour DJ of Mac Miller” and a key member of the Most Dope Family. If ask the artist himself he would tell you that he was “a continually evolving exploratory creator who DJ’s, produces and raps.”

MAC MILLER announces headline shows for September in Melbourne + Sydney!
Aug 17, 2017Illusive Presents and Frontier Touring are thrilled to announce that innovative American rap prodigy Mac Miller will head to Australia this September for fans in Melbourne and Sydney.
The past year has been huge for Mac Miller. Since the drop of The Divine Feminine (out now through Warner), which features an array of legendary musical contemporaries including Anderson .Paak, Ariana Grande, CeeLo Green and Kendrick Lamar, Mac dives head first into themes of modern love set against smooth RnB jams.
The first drop from The Divine Feminine entitled ‘Dang!’, features the smooth and sultry vocals of Anderson .Paak, whose video is sitting at a cool 19 million views on YouTube and 58 million streams on Spotify. Backed up by ‘We’ with CeeLo Green the ever enticing ‘My Favourite Part’ featuring modern pop phenomenon Ariana Grande, the record has elevated Mac Miller to all new heights of acclaim.
‘IT’S EASILY HIS MOST INTOXICATING RELEASE YET, AN ODYSSEY OF SOULFUL COMPOSITIONS PARING DOWN HIS EXPANSIVE AND ECLECTIC SOUNDBOARD FROM THE LAST FEW YEARS INTO SOMETHING DISTINCTLY COZY AND PLEASANT.’ – PITCHFORK
‘MAC MILLER’S CREATIVE MIND EXPLORES THE INS AND OUTS OF THE MODERN RELATIONSHIP WHILE MAINTAINING A CERTAIN LEVEL OF SOPHISTICATION THAT CAN BE CONSIDERED TIMELESS.’ – XXL MAG
This will be Mac’s first time in the country since playing to rave reviews at the last Big Day Out tour in 2014, and follows an extensive run of dates around America and Europe in support of The Divine Feminine.
Pittsburgh-based rapper Mac Miller had just turned 18 when he spent 2010 making his name through mixtapes and video-sharing websites. Born Malcolm McCormick, his K.I.D.S. mixtape became his breakthrough when it was released in August of 2010, earning plenty of attention from hip-hop blogs and landing Miller a recording contract with Rostrum Records. Rostrum released his debut EP, On and On and Beyond, and his Billboard chart-topping debut album, Blue Slide Park, in 2011. His more experimental sophomore album, Watching Movies with the Sound Off, followed in 2013, with left-field hip-hop names like Action Bronson, Earl Sweatshirt, and Flying Lotus lending a hand and earning him widespread critical acclaim.
A year later he signed with Warner Bros. and launched his own imprint, Remember Music, under the major label. His 2015 LP GO:OD AM was heralded by Pitchfork as his "most refined and well put-together project" and featured contributions from Lil B, Chief Keef, and Miguel, among others. His latest full length, The Divine Feminine, was released in 2016, featuring the breakout single, “Dang!” and appearances by Anderson .Paak, Kendrick Lamar, and many more.
Sydney and Melbourne fans, get ready to welcome back America’s most dope this September!
