Jan 29, 2018
The countdown is on! In less than a week Australia’s summer is about to get a whole lot hotter with RNB royalty Boyz II Men and TLC kicking off their headline shows, followed by the first ever RNB Vine Days concert series.
Due to a last minute media opportunity in the US, it is with great disappointment Shaggy wishes to advise he will no longer appear at the RNB Vine Days winery shows and is apologetic to fans across the country.
“I’m disappointed to not celebrate RNB Vine Days with my fans, I love performing in Australia and hope to return soon and party old school.” - Shaggy

Heirs to the classic RNB vocal group tradition, New York City’s Grammy Award Winning new jack swing quartet Blackstreet will return to Australian shores this summer to celebrate RNB Vine Days. Receiving breakthrough success from hit single ‘No Diggity (feat. Dr Dre & Queen Pen)’, from 1996’s sophomore album Another Level, Blackstreet masterminded an album that blended street level rhythms with urban soul and received pop crossover success.
Whether it be a smooth ballad or party jam, Blackstreet will keep fans groovin’ with their slick catalogue of RNB classics, including ‘Girlfriend/Boyfriend (feat. Janet Jackson)’, ‘We Gonna Take You Back (Lude) / Don’t Leave Me’ and ‘Before I Let You Go’. Don’t miss out!

Boyz II Men Announce Headline Melbourne Show + Hitting Australia For The Inaugural RNB Vine Days + Co-Headline Shows With TLC!
Jan 16, 2018Iconic Philadelphia soul stirrers Boyz II Men last impressed Australia in 2015 on a massive hits tour. Already confirmed as headliners of the first-ever winery concert series RNB Vinedays alongside iconic R&B group TLC, Frontier Touring are thrilled to announce that due to overwhelming demand the trio will also be performing a special headline show at TRAK Lounge Bar in Melbourne on Thursday 8 February.
Formed in 1985 as high school mates, the band was fundamentally built on rich harmonies, a penchant for soul, and rehearsals in small spaces ranging from their local hangouts to the school bathrooms. Fast forward over three decades later, and the group have picked up 4 Grammy Awards, an international following, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The boys first broke the world stage with 1991’s debut release Cooleyhighharmony, which reached the top spot on Billboard US’s Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart, peaked at #4 on the ARIA Album Chart, and featured timeless chart-topping singles like ‘End of the Road’, a prime reflection of the now-veterans’ rich harmonies and delicious bass licks.
Since then, the group have utilised the past few decades building a stunning back catalogue, backed by a marked consistency. Hits span from 1994’s ‘I’ll Make Love to You’ from second album II, which shot to #1 in 4 countries including Australia, to the more recent ‘Pass You By’ from 2000’s fourth album Nathan Michael Shawn Wanya.
Their 10th record Twenty (2011), which debuted at #4 on the Billboard R&B Album chart, was aptly named as an anniversary album, also featuring the musicians’ first original material in over a decade. Off the back of those songs, as well as those featured on 2014’s landmark record Collide, Boyz II Men stormed Australia on a national hits tour three years ago.
‘…Boyz II Men delivered an evening of classic R&B that left those in attendance
knowing they'd just witnessed greatness.’ – The Music
‘Time has not wearied their voices – baritone Nathan Morris still oozed like caramel, Shawn Stockman and Wanya Morris were still deliciously smooth...’
– The Sydney Morning Herald
Currently starring in Grease: Live, which originally aired on FOX in 2016, Boyz II Men are set to showcase more than 25 years of classic hits as well as inspiring covers when they kick off their summer Aussie run. You won’t want to miss out on their hotly anticipated Melbourne show next month, along with the inaugural RNB Vine Days!

TLC & BOYZ II MEN announce exclusive co-headline show for Christchurch this January
Nov 16, 2017For the very first time in New Zealand, Illusive Presents, Frontier Touring and Mai FM are ecstatic to announce that two of the biggest names in contemporary RNB - TLC and Boyz II Men - will return to New Zealand this summer for one special co-headline show in Christchurch. This will be the first time TLC have ever visited the South Island, and will mark the first show down south for Boyz II Men this decade.
TLC is one of history’s most influential female hip-hop and R&B acts and will return to New Zealand for only the second time ever after two phenomenal shows in 2016.

Tragically in 2002, Lopes was killed in a car accident. Refusing to call it quits in honour of their fallen sister T-Boz and Chilli have since continued to tour worldwide.
Selling 65 million records worldwide with five Grammy Awards under their belt, TLC remain a force to be reckoned with. Releasing their first album in 15 years in June (through Liberator Music) they produced hits ‘Haters’ and ‘Way Back (feat. Snoop Dogg)’ that follow the same CrazySexyCool style of anthems ‘No Scrubs’, ‘Waterfalls’ and ‘Unpretty’.
