Didirri, his sound and general character is a blend of nostalgia and modern escapades with a promise of something completely of its own class. In person, as a songwriter and as a performer, he possesses a disarming charisma that you’ll find yourself gravitating towards. Drawn into his vortex of unapologetic storytelling, often punctuated with seductive selfdepreciating humour he’s bound to win you over.

Apr 04, 2018
Vance Joy solidifies his status as one of Australia’s biggest artists as Frontier Touring today list two more shows as completely sold out on the Australian run of the Nation of Two World Tour, adding an extra show each to Melbourne and Brisbane due to overwhelming demand.
Every single ticket has been snapped up to Vance Joy’s hometown gig at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Saturday 15 September, his biggest ever headline show, triggering the need for an extra Melbourne date to be added on Saturday 8 September, where he’ll now open the tour!
In addition, his Riverstage show in Brisbane on Friday 21 September has sold out, with a second Brisbane show added on Thursday 20 September. Frontier Touring members can access pre-sale tickets from 11am AEST on Monday 9 April with general public on sale on Tuesday 10 April.
News of the additional shows complements the already impressive worldwide success story of Vance Joy. His sophomore album Nation of Two (released via Liberation Records on Friday 23 February) was met with widespread acclaim, debuting in Australia at #1, at #2 in Canada and #10 in the USA.
To add even more to his list of accolades, Liberation Records are pleased to reveal Nation of Two’s first single ‘Lay It On Me’ has ticked over to twice Platinum accreditation, while current single ‘We’re Going Home’ is now accredited Gold.
Vance Joy returns to home soil this September for his biggest tour to date on the Nation of Two World Tour – which will also see the artist play at the 17,000 person capacity venue Budweiser Stage in Toronto and at the stunning Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.
Vance Joy will bring Didirri and Cub Sport along for the ride on all Australian shows, with Jack River warming the crowd at the tour opening show at Rod Laver Arena on Saturday 8 September. With sell outs across the country and the world, fans for all shows should act fast to avoid disappointment.

In anticipation of the release of Nation of Two and to coincide with the tour announcement, Vance Joy has revealed a new track; the hauntingly beautiful album opener ‘Call If You Need Me’ alongside a stunning clip. ‘Call If You Need Me’ features Vance Joy’s trademark visual lyrics, painting pictures of fluorescent lights and conversations through foggy shower glass. The clip, which features Vance Joy in a beautiful, stripped-back setting, was shot by Mimi Cave who also shot the videos for ‘Lay It On Me’ and ‘We’re Going Home’.
Vance Joy kicked off album release month by treating fans to another album preview on February 1, revealing the bright and uplifting ‘Saturday Sun’. Similar to ‘We’re Going Home’, ‘Saturday Sun’ is accompanied by a visual lyric video penned by Vance Joy himself. The track is proving an instant fan favourite having been streamed 1 million times in its first 5 days! ‘Call If You Need Me’ and ‘Saturday Sun’ join ‘Lay It On Me’, ‘Like Gold’, and ‘We’re Going Home’ as instant downloads on album pre-orders. All five tracks can be heard right now on streaming services.
