Frontier Touring wishes to advise Marc Rebillet’s Australian and New Zealand tour will now take place in January and February 2023. The 2022 scheduled shows remain unable to go ahead due to the ongoing changing nature of the COVID pandemic, and associated government directives in Australia and New Zealand.

Remaining tickets for the already announced Brisbane and Sydney dates will go on sale 12noon AEDT today: Thursday 14 October via frontiertouring.com/marcrebillet Existing Auckland and Melbourne shows are currently sold out.

In great news, due to overwhelming demand, Marc today announces a third show at Auckland’s Powerstation for Wednesday 11 January, a third show at Melbourne’s The Forum on Wednesday 25 January, and new shows for Hobart’s Odeon Theatre on Monday 30 January, Adelaide’s Thebarton Theatre on Wednesday 1 February and Fremantle at Metropolis on Saturday 4 February 2023. 

Frontier Members Pre-sale for Marc’s newly announced Adelaide, Auckland, Fremantle, Hobart and Melbourne shows begins Tuesday 19 October before tickets go on sale Thursday 21 October from 1pm (local time) via frontiertouring.com/marcrebillet    

Tickets for the original performances will be valid for the rescheduled dates without taking further action.  Patrons unable to attend new dates may obtain a full refund.  Refund requests must be prior to Thursday 18 November.

Throughout 2021 Marc has continued to keep his fans entertained with videos and live-streamed shows including the hugely popular ‘VACCINATED ATTITUDE’ video which amassed more than three million views and his 'HARRY MACK IS ON THE STREAM' and 'WAYNE BRADY' live-streamed shows. Just over a month ago Rebillet live-streamed his latest show 'MISS ME' which accumulated 671k+ views. Earlier in the pandemic, Marc took to the stage for socially-distanced live shows at drive-ins and is currently playing shows across the U.S. on his Third Dose North America Tour 2021.

Frontier Touring wishes to advise that Marc Rebillet’s Australian and New Zealand tour will now take place in January and February 2022. The originally scheduled shows remain unable to go ahead due to the constantly changing nature of the COVID-19 pandemic, and associated government directives in Australia and New Zealand.
 
In addition, Marc today announces a second show at Melbourne’s The Forum and a third show in Sydney at the Enmore Theatre to meet demand.
 
Marc’s tour of Australia and New Zealand will now kick off on Sat 22 Jan 2022 at Auckland’s Powerstation, before crossing the ditch to Melbourne for a newly-added show (Fri 28 Jan) and sold-out show (Sat 29 Jan at The Forum.) Marc will then head to Sydney for two sold-out shows at Sydney’s Max Watts (Tue 1 Feb and Wed 2 Feb, prev. Metro Theatre) before taking to the Enmore Theatre for a newly-added show on Sat 5 Feb. Marc will close out his tour with his performance at Brisbane’s The Fortitude on Sun 6 Feb.

Ticketholders are encouraged to hold onto their tickets for the new dates. However, if required a refund can be sought from the original point of purchase.
 
In lieu of each of his originally-scheduled Australian and New Zealand tour dates, Rebillet took his BOSS RC-505 loop station, keyboard and vocals to the internet offering fans his Quarantine Livestream Tour. Full sets were live-streamed at the date and time that Rebillet was set to perform in each Australian and New Zealand city. Marc has continued to keep his fans entertained throughout lockdown with a number of live-streamed shows including his hugely popular ‘THE NIGHT I MET ERYKAH BADU!!’ stream which amassed close to a million views. Amid the pandemic, Marc has taken to the stage for socially-distanced live shows at drive-ins across the U.S. The multi-talented improviser has also raised tens of thousands of dollars for COVID-19-related charities and streamed his ‘ESSENTIAL WORKERS ANTHEM’ thanking frontline workers.

All existing ticketholders need not take action: original purchases are valid for entry at the rescheduled show dates and fans are encouraged to #KeepYourTicket and attend the rescheduled Jan-Feb shows. Ticketholders will be contacted directly via their show’s authorised ticketing agency regarding these date changes; steps will be provided should the Jan-Feb dates not suit.

Rebillet brings his improvisational performances to Brisbane’s The Fortitude Music Hall on Tuesday 17 March, followed by Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Friday 20 March, and The Forum in Melbourne on Saturday 21 March, before heading to Auckland’s Powerstation on Tuesday 24 March.

2019 was a huge year for Rebillet – sold out tours across North America, Europe and the UK and featured by Billboard as a ‘Dance Emerging Artist’ to Watch in August after releasing his album, Europe. Much of Rebillet’s music is improvised on the spot in front of his audience, and Europe is no exception. Each of the album’s 26 tracks were improvised, recorded and streamed individually via Rebillet’s YouTube channel, one-at-a-time whilst on the road during a 29 day trip around Europe, tracks include DAY 1: ‘BORDEAUX’, DAY 2: ‘GRENOBLE’ and DAY 6: ‘ZURICH’. 

In August Europe was dropped, earning over 155,214 monthly streams. In addition, Rebillet regularly live streams on YouTube full sets of his seemingly unconventional music-making in his apartment and hotel rooms. Rebillet’s YouTube channel currently has over 450,000 active subscribers.
